a whole week :)

Sunday night, I bought a book that was on sale at Sam's - "The Biggest Loser - 30 day kick off" I know I don't need a book (I secretly just wanted to read the stories from the people on the ranch out of PURE jealousy) But as I bought it, I told Javier "don't laugh at me, i'm going to buy this" He said "the only way I'll make fun of you is if you don't do it!" I knew at that moment, it was time! Its hard to eat right, when people are used to you eating anything and everything you can find. Its even harder to change eating habits without telling anyone that you are doing it on purpose and that you have a goal. So that said... this week was great!

So... I sat up Sunday night and planned the week. 1500 calories a day is the goal, and walking 3 times a week.

Monday: 1432 calories - and I was full :) I walked 1.25 miles with Sharp!
Tuesday: I knew tuesday would be hard because we had an away softball game. I planned all the way up to dinner, and had an idea what I wanted to eat. I did good, with a grilled chicken sandwich (but I did bad with a small strawberry milk shake) -- I went over my calories for the day by consuming 1935...
Wednesday: knowing I went over on Tuesday i lightened my load on Wednesday - 988 cals in
Thursday: I knew we'd be going out to eat at Sodalaks - and I would have breakfast taco's for our Thursday ritual... so I planned ;) potato and egg on corn w/side of bean = 625.. I decided to eat celery for lunch = 6 cals, then I did great at dinner and had the best grilled chicken ever with some green beans and carrots = 1073 total!!!
Friday- again, an away softball event. I did not do great, but planned accordingly for the day. I ended up having taco bell, but only went over my allotment by 240, 1740 calories in...
Saturday: I was worried about weekends most, no plans, no way to know what was going to happen... Breakfast tacos again... but instead of eating a big lunch, I snacked on healthy snacks that we have now in the fridge! I also made chicken and noodles for dinner = 1081 calorie day!
Sunday: even more nervous about sundays, but it was a great day! taco's for breakfast (we keep Coco Loco in business) but i had an apple before the aggie game, carrots periodically when i'd get hungry through the day and string cheese for lunch. By 10:00 I had only had 600 calories so I ate a chicken wrap to round the day out at 921 calories - but we cleaned a lot so I burned 1200 calories :)

SUMMARY: I ENDED UP 1329 CALORIES LESS THAN MY GOAL FOR THE WEEK. I AM GLAD THAT I DIDN'T QUIT AFTER I GAVE IN TO THE MILK SHAKE. AND THEN TO THE TACOBELL CURSE. AND THEN TO THE TACO'S -- i'll weigh in this morning to see... :) 260 was last monday I think...
