Tuesday... AUGH MATH TAKS DAY... Hotdog day... whew, packed breakfast and lunch and snacks!! I had a GREAT fruit salad and frozen grapes for breakfast, celery cucumbers for all day snacks & instead of eating hotdogs I brought a tuna kit! YES! BUT the snacks did tempt me... Sarah (my Master Teacher) gave us all a goodie bag... it had 100 calorie packs of cookies and fruit snacks (and twix, snickers, nerds and other chocolate) I tried the cookies... GROSS... So 33 nasty wasted calories... but the fruit snacks were good (and ate NO chocolate) so for dinner we went for Chinese --- Hunan chicken isn't 'THAT" for you... so the day was 1298 :)
Wednesday... had shredded wheat and pineapple for breakfast and ate a sandwich for lunch (NO MAYO AND NO EXTRA CHEESE) then had a granola bar and a cucumber for snacks... then class came, and Dr. Webb-Johnson brought some FOOD... I munched on my broccoli and carrots and did not have a bite! (and my presentation went great!) So I met Javier on northgate & sat with him while he ate pizza -- I had a granola bar that was good, but nothing else for dinner :) so only 1010 yesterday!
Thursday... Today... Breakfast taco Thursday and Sodolak's Thursday (a bad calorie set up, but I cut the cheese out of my taco's and had corn again... and less beans - its a slow transition) I brought a cantaloupe half for lunch ( but i might eat a sandwich too, because i"m starving)
**** Insight -- I now know what "empty calories" means... I still feel like I'm 600 behind because of Monday... I hope I can get full again soon... This weekend will have a lot of drinking (for others, I think I'm going to just not drink... not sure how that will work, but I will sure try hard) Either that or not eat, I'm trying to save a lot of calories for Friday since its Javier's birthday party :)
